Welcome to the American Academy of Ultrasound Technology (AAUSTech).
I founded AAUSTech with one goal: to give sonographers everywhere a clear, structured and affordable path to ARDMS® certification and clinical excellence. After more than 20 years of teaching and practicing diagnostic medical sonography, I know that students succeed when they learn from real images, practice under exam conditions and receive honest feedback on their progress.
That is how every AAUSTech course is built. Our live Zoom lectures are taught by credentialed sonographers, every session is recorded, and each lecture comes with an interactive lecture app containing HD slides, Q&A, key terms, ARDMS-style MCQs, case studies and full-length mock exams.

Vice President · Associate Professor in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
Dr. Nadia Ali is Vice President of AAUSTech and an Associate Professor in Diagnostic Medical Sonography with more than 15 years of experience in ultrasound education and training.
She leads the academic quality of AAUSTech programs: curriculum design, lecture standards, question-bank review and student assessment. Under her direction, every course follows the official ARDMS® content outlines and combines theory with real clinical images, case-based learning and timed mock examinations.
Dr. Ali is committed to making high-quality sonography education accessible to students worldwide, while holding every program to the standards expected of practicing sonographers.

The American Academy of Ultrasound Technology (AAUSTech) is a US-licensed online academy for diagnostic medical sonography, headquartered in Iowa City, Iowa. We are licensed by the Iowa Secretary of State (CRP No. 756750-IA) and accredited by the American Council of Training and Development (ACTD-US).
